Michael Gillette and Bond

In 2008, for the Centenary of Ian Fleming's birth, Penguin Books commissioned artist Michael Gillette to create 15 illustrations for a new release of the James Bond novels. The books were produced as limited edition Hardbacks, which sold out very quickly.

In 2013, Michael Gillette was granted a license from the Ian Fleming Estate to make Limited Edition Art Prints of these covers.

From 2014 to 2016, Michael Gillette was commissioned to create cover art for German reissues of the John Gardner James Bond continuation novels. These covers are also available as prints at Michael Gillette.

More recently, in 2024, Michael Gilette provided cover designs for new hardback editions of all fourteen of Fleming’s original Bond adventures.

In this contest, you can win a screen print of his latest cover design for Casino Royale, signed by Michael Gillette himself. 

The print, Image size 18"x 28" is a rare Artist’s proof, of which only a few exist, and it comes with a Certificate denoting it as an Artist's proof.
